Many of my cohorts in the IT world are long laptop users time. They are counselors are on the road a lot, live and die with their laptops. The vast majority of these people have probably done things most in this book, at least once, and could not be much new information for them. But, to my father. In the past retirement age, he went around and got a laptop to "check email while you're on the road." For him, everything is a matrix of confusion Technology that does not make much sense. A book like this would allow him to understand the essential elements of the laptop, they know how they should be kept and, more importantly know when things do not work very well. For example, the nature defragment a hard disk is for me a second. For him, it is "why?". Clean the screen with Windex? No, Dad. . . Because you can not read DVD? Because you have a CD player. . . no DVD player. Things. . . :)
If you're more comfortable with technology, you can still find some benefit here. I have fortunately not had many problems with my laptop. But what if the screen has started to fade? This book would give me an idea of what was happening and what options I might need to continue. Leaking water on the keyboard. . . repair? (The children did, and in this case is.) Although you can not find the exact answer you are looking for, it will at least reduce stress levels, as Figure things.
Very good book, fun read, and the right equipment could prevent some problems down the road. . .

The organization and layout provides the desired information quickly and easily. There is obviously no need to read this book front to back (like all of the dummy books in the series). The introduction also gives the reader advice on how to use this book wisely.
There are six parts:
Part 1: Installing a computer in her lap.
Part 2: Explain what might go wrong
Part 3: Laying a hand on the main
Part 4: Do not communicate
Part 5: The software part of life
Part 6: The Part of Tens
If you have a laptop and wants to maintain, prevent future dilemmas and solve problems correctly, "Upgrading and Fixing Laptops for Dummies" can help beginners and / or computer illiterate.

Easy to read, but they have very little factual information. Fair
asks the reader to refer to the instructions supplied with the computer, but
Maybe a little "easier to read the instructions.
