This review is from: Upgrading and Repairing Laptops (Paperback) This book is one of the worst I've ever read, even if "upgrading and repairing laptops is probably a better title of "Just about everything that deals with hardware, time, including the operating system, focusing on, but not limited to laptops. "There is much that the information contained in this book.
Unfortunately it is not possible to recommend the book title or information on the back cover as "improving" and "repair" and less "portable" keywords are misleading. It contains a surprising amount of information of the internal functioning of the computer, but it is simply too much information to say that these are topics covered. They are one side that the main objective. The information refers constantly to the laptop, but it is too say that laptops are the main subject.
However, the information is complete, concise, structured and realistic. If you are interested in the profound mysteries of this material is an excellent resource for discussions on the processors, motherboards (and chip), memory, storage (including CD and DVD formats) and a just everything else. Be aware of regarding the book before buying it.

Most of the information contained in the book has been saved to repair and upgrade PC (even some parts sound as if you want to use a desktop computer instead of a laptop). In some parts of the book is spoken by almost all laptops. For the next edition of this book, laptop, parts of the work must be combined and the information that was copied from URPCs must be taken. If you want to know how your laptop, get the manual of your system and the current edition of URPCs.

This has been so far with the release of Scott Mueller U & R laptop and this is certainly to have one in every technical library. The 875 plus page reference manual is just about everything you need to take care of your laptop, the installation of equipment and upgrades. The author has certainly supported the research, as there are a number of laptops covered. The material is updated with the latest information and technical accuracy of the book is very clear. The book covers more than replacing, it has been through what we're looking for, what you can and can not do with certain materials, including success in obtaining the upgrade or replacement and more. I read the U & R PC, and this book is an extension of the material there. What is the most impressive part of the package could be the CD-ROM, which has given more than an hour of video material that enhance the learning process. It is where the material is covered at least today. Overall, it is simply the best book I read laptop repair.
